FIREFLY® presurgical planning services are provided on a concierge basis and offer numerous benefits. Surgeon familiarity with deformed or altered anatomy can minimize surprises in the operating room. FIREFLY® also enables optimal implant placement by incorporating surgeon defined preferences for medial line angles and entry points into the design of the Patient-Specific Pedicle Screw Guides.
Our unique 3D planning process, which can also predetermine the screw length and diameter, is turning the art of placing pedicle screws into a highly accurate, consistent process.
The FIREFLY® presurgical plan provides a clear blueprint of which pedicle screw sizes will be used for each vertebral level, which enables the surgeon and surgical team to work in a synchronized way. The Guides are simple to use and the customized Guide tray helps to maximize the efficiencies.
Time is money in the OR, and the patient clearly benefits from a shorter surgery. FIREFLY® Guides, trays, and coordinated surgical team effort were modeled after a NASCAR pit stop.

Guides and Bone Models
The Guides are single use and autoclavable. They are custom fitted to the patient’s vertebrae and physically guide the surgeon to follow their selected trajectory so screw placement is repeatable and consistent.
Autoclavable 3D printed bone models can assist with surgical planning and patient education, and can also be used intraoperatively.
